Hello and welcome to PharmaTelevision News Review here at the LESI Conference in London 2011. On this show I have Anthony P. Venturino, who is a Partner at a company called Novak Druce a Law Firm, welcome to the show.

Tony, you are a patent lawyer could you tell us little bit about what your practice actually is?
Anthony P. Venturino:
It's mostly what they call patent prosecution and procurements or your writing and then after you write the case and file it trying get that thing allowed.
Fintan Walton:
Sure and does that involve patent strategies as well?

Dr Fintan Walton is the Founder and CEO of PharmaVentures . Anthony P. Venturino currently serves as Partner at Novak Druce + Quigg LLP. Anthony P. Venturino has prepared numerous U.S. and PCT patent applications, trademark applications and opinions, and participated in major litigations. He has also been responsible for a number of complex activities including negotiating and drafting agreements, conducting due diligence for multi-million dollar technology acquisitions, and counseling senior management on intellectual property issues. Anthony P. Venturino has corporate and law firm experience as a chemical engineer with Exxon, is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey, and was also a patent counsel with U.S. Surgical Corporation. His fields of technical expertise include chemistry, catalysts, oil, gas and coal processing, metallurgy, surfactants, polymers, pharmaceuticals, compositions, biotechnology, and medical devices. He has lectured extensively on U.S. patent practice both in the United States and abroad. He is ranked as "AV" from Martindale Hubbell Law Directory, the highest rating given to participating attorneys. Over the years, Anthony P. Venturino has been recognized by his peers as a top lawyer in his field.
