Working with the universities in the United Arab Emirates, DuBiotech is also building a base for local start-ups to become part of the ecosystem. Talking to Adrian Dawkes at BIO International 2014, Executive Director, Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, explains how DuBiotech’s two “hot areas” of lifestyle and oncology are important to the region. The Dubai Biotechnology & Research Park is the major Life Sciences cluster in the Middle East. It is a Free Zone that provides the ultimate platform for Life Sciences companies to set up their operations and access the fast growing, emerging markets of the region.
